Talk about quirk! The Pink Quill is something to behold. It's pink bract produces an array of delicate violet flowers with a beautiful scent. After the flowering, Pink Quill will turn green! Only to produce numerous new quills, or pups, the following year. You'll be fascinated by this plant.

Pink Quills are epiphytes in their native Ecuador and have small roots, mainly used for anchoring themselves on trees. Because the roots don't drink up water, these tree-dwelling plants gather moisture and nutrients through their leaves.  


Follow these instructions to keep your Pink Quill healthy and happy.

Water: Spray leaves until they are thoroughly wet, 2-3 times a week. Do not soak the base of the plant.
Light: Bright, indirect Light
Humidity: Moderate to High Humidity. Brown tips on leaves are a result of dry air.
Fertilize: Balanced Liquid Fertilizer every 2 weeks, preferably with a foliar spray.
